Here you will find all the information you need for sectionals.

First, the number of people competing in each event:

Second, what does this mean?

IX will only be competing in ONE final round. Congratulations Megan - our 1st state qualifier!
Radio, Discussion, Poetry, Prose, and Impromptu will compete in 3 prelim rounds, 1 semifinal round (2 rooms of 6), and 1 final round (1 room of 6).
All other events will only compete in 3 prelim rounds and a final round of 6 (1 room of 6).

Third, how do ribbons work?

Ribbons are awarded to the top 6 in each events -- those advancing to state.
Trophies are awarded to the top 6 teams.

Fourth, how do you get to compete at state?

You place in the top 6 in your event.
