Happy Thanksgiving!

Just a reminder that there are no meetings or practices this week, so that you can relax and spend time with your families over Thanksgiving break.

We will meet on Tuesday, December 3rd to get the registration for the IUPUC meet. You should also plan to bring your $10 for t-shirts if you ordered them. They are in and ready to be delivered.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families!

Results from Noblesville High School Speech Meet

Columbus East Speech displayed an incredible amount of heart and resiliency at yesterday's speech tournament....we started our morning facing several challenges. "I won't be on the bus.....I just wrapped my car around a telephone pole" are no words a speech coach or anyone wants to hear -- but fortunately, everyone was safe and made it to the meet to compete.

We had an incredible showing with the following results:
1st Memorized Duo - Mariann and Tessa
1st Discussion - Whitney
2nd Discussion - Molly
8th Discussion - Alex
5th Impromptu - Chris
8th Impromptu - Patrick
7th Declamation - Katie
6th OO - Chris
9th OP - Ashleigh
9th Radio - Molly
6th IX - Gracie
7th IX - Naveen
6th HI - Mariann

The team was 3rd overall out of 20 some-odd teams at the tournament -- finishing one point lowering than the second place team, Cathedral! If this is what happens on a high stress day, we cannot wait to see what happens when things go smoothly from start to finish. Pictures to follow soon!

On to the Ball State Red Carpet Affair this weekend!
